[05/06/2009] A new release of IUCLID (5.1.1) is available on the website.

An upgrade (5.1.1) is now available for the standalone and the distributed versions of IUCLID 5. The upgrade can be downloaded free of charge from the Get IUCLID 5 section of the IUCLID 5 website.

This version of IUCLID 5 has been prepared in order to make the future release of additional features possible and to fix a series of bugs in the application itself and in some plug-ins. For these reasons, we advise all the current IUCLID 5 users to install this new version.

The main bugs corrected in this version of IUCLID are:

• The wrong decimal separator was written in the database when the HelpSystem was not in English. The translated HelpSystem are now available again on the website but shall be used only with IUCLID 5.1.1.
• The file selection did not work with Java version 1.6.0_12 and newer.

The installation packages contain a release note which explains all the changes. New versions of the CSR Tool and the Query Tool plug-ins have also been published and shall be used with IUCLID 5.1.1. Older versions of the plug-ins are still available for users of previous IUCLID versions in a newly created Archived releases section on the IUCLID website. Note: The current users of IUCLID 5 are advised to make a backup copy of their data before upgrading the database. This can be done for example by using the built-in backup feature in IUCLID 5. The feature can be found at: File / Administrative tools / Back-up. Further guidance is available in the installation manuals.
